Team Trophy
Teams of four - whether women, men or mixed. One athlete competes in each of the four sections. The teams organize themselves; one vehicle per team is permitted. Minimum age: 16 years (with the written consent of a parent or guardian).
Couples
Teams of two, composition woman/man, woman/woman or man/man possible. Each athlete competes in two of the four distances. The division of the disciplines can be chosen by the athletes themselves. The teams organize themselves; one vehicle per team is permitted. Minimum age: 18 years.

Prize money
The top three teams will receive attractive prizes in kind. The first 6 mixed teams of 4 will receive a prize in kind. All members of the finisher teams will receive the INFERNO Team Trophy finisher T-shirt.
Competition regulations
The INFERNO Triathlon takes place in alpine and partly high alpine terrain. High demands are placed on the personal responsibility of the participants. The following competition regulations apply analogous to triathlon (excerpt):
Registration/Cancellation
Registration start
Registration starts on November 11 at 11.11 am. We recommend registering directly online - the links can be found directly on the start page at the time stated.
Deregistration
Cancellations for health reasons will be accepted if a medical certificate is presented. The entry fee will be refunded after deduction of a processing fee of CHF 50.
Equipment and material requirements
The highest demands are placed on equipment and material. The organizer reserves the right not to allow athletes with inadequate or poorly maintained equipment (bikes and helmets!) to take part in the competition.
Doping ban
Doping is prohibited. Swiss Olympic Association may carry out doping controls.
Vehicles | Transports
Each team organizes its own transport during the race.
One vehicle per team is permitted to move along the prescribed route Thun - Interlaken - Grindelwald - Stechelberg.
The team vehicles will be marked.
Teams whose vehicle leaves the prescribed route will be disqualified.
Health and safety measures
The doctors and referees appointed by the organizer may remove participants from the race if there is a risk of damage to their health.
Helmet requirement
Helmets are compulsory for road and mountain bikes. The officially approved helmet is mandatory. This must be worn on the entire route (including uphill sections!).
Liability | Route changes
The organizer may change the route at any time. The organizer is not obliged to refund the entry fee in the event of changes to the route or cancellation of the event due to force majeure.
Height profile
Licenses
No licenses are required.
Wetsuit
A full-body wetsuit is mandatory for the swimming discipline. Neoprene gloves and booties may not be worn.
Rules and notes
The INFERNO Triathlon follows the rules of the Swiss Triathlon Federation (tri) and is under the supervision of tri referees. Slipstreaming (drafting) is prohibited.
Traffic rules
The roads are not closed off, so there is zero tolerance for non-compliance with the traffic rules. Disregarding the instructions of the marshals or failing to comply with the traffic rules will result in immediate disqualification!
