The Junior Trail Series creates a nationwide platform where young runners can become part of a growing trail running community, where talent is nurtured early on, and where long-term opportunities in competitive sports are opened up for them.

Mürren is calling - and with it, the Swiss Athletics Junior Trail Series. Where the breathtaking panorama of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau takes your breath away and the trails are the stuff of legends, our young runners can look forward to a real highlight.

Categories & starting fees

We are thrilled to be part of the Junior Trail Series and to actively support young people through INFERNO.

Entry fee

U16 JTS: CHF 15.00

U18 JTS: CHF 20.00

U20 JTS: CHF 25.00

The entry fee includes: Medal, ticket Schilthornbahn (Stechelberg - Mürren) and Datasport certificate.

Here you will find the most important questions and answers about the new running events on Sunday.

Arrival

Participants receive a return ticket for the Schilthorn cable car included in the entry fee, allowing them to travel in comfort from Stechelberg to Mürren on a spectacular cable car ride.

Spectators can also enjoy this unique cable car ride. Tickets for the Schilthorn cable car can be purchased online here or at the valley station in Stechelberg.

Refreshments

For the Kids- U12-, U14- and Trailrun, refreshments will be provided in the finish area.

In addition, there is a refreshment post for the trailrun after 5 km on the Höhenlücke.

Start / finish area

Start and finish are at the sports center in Mürren.

Exception: The Kids-Run starts at the fountain. The finish is also at the sports center.
