Information on the INFERNO 2026 route changes
The road cycling route is not cordoned off. All participants must strictly observe the traffic regulations and follow the instructions of the traffic control team. Drafting is prohibited. There will be a few roadworks along the route, which require all road users to exercise caution.
In Interlaken, the route will be diverted due to roadworks. You can see the route adjustment illustrated here.
PLEASE NOTE: This last-minute adjustment has NOT been reflected in the GPX data in the download section.
For safety reasons, the route between the entrance to the village of Grindelwald and the transition area in Grindelwald will be neutralised. No timekeeping will take place on this section. All participants must therefore adjust their pace accordingly!
